"The Best Of Me" is melodrama that feels so hurried and half-baked that the end result isn’t just disappointing.
It’s borderline infuriating because both sets of ridiculously attractive couples have the required chemistry to sell the "romance" part of this affecting romantic drama.
Its a tale of of two former lovers reuniting after a 21-year separation also functions as a study of two terrific actors struggling to overcome the relentless mediocrity of their material & how they're gonna stay together even when they possibly can't.
Stay tuned for #4.
