Extra Large Cookie Lovin' Unicorns

You must've seen them, right?

I was recently at Writer's Cafe, Gopalapuram, Chennai and I got myself a slightly large cookie (for just 50 bucks!) and then took it home and nibbled through it the next day, which was when I realized HOW MUCH I LOVED LARGE COOKIES.

I mean, what's not to love:
Cookies? GREAT
Bigger Cookies? AAAH. GREATER.

If you haven't experienced the joy yet, go to your local Starbucks and get a cookie all to yourself and EAT IT SLOWLY and EXPERIENCE IT ALL.

Believe me, you'll never love Cookies more. (Pun intended, fellow cookies!)

Snickerdoodle Unicorns

Dessert number five MUST be Snickerdoodle ANYTHING.

Now before you ask me WHAT exactly is it, I have absolutely no Idea, I just know that I love it and my denial makes me love it more.

Whatever it is, it is put into cakes, cookies, cupcakes really thick biscuits and brownies and THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS.

REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS.

I'm not the BIGGEST fan of Peanut Butter out of these gorgeous salty, chocolate enveloped, caramely peanut butter cups of joy (I made your mouth water, didn't I?) but there are SO THE EXCEPTION to my peatu butter taste.

If you haven't tasted these, you haven't lived.

WHAT IS MY THIRD FAVOURITE DESSERT ALL YOU DIE-HARD UNICORN FANS WANT TO KNOW?

Well, gosh. I'l tell you.

ANYTHING RED VELVET AND CREAM CHEESE makes my list. Whether they are cupcakes or cheesecakes or plain cakes or macaroon cookies, I WILL STUFF THEM IN MY FACE.

As long as the cream cheese is slighty salty and balances out the gooey sweetness of the Red Velvet, make it in ANY form and it will be IN MY MOUTH.

Cream cheese. Don't forget.

An Apple Pie #Unicorn

When I was 10 years old, and I was in Hyderabad with a bunch of family friends, I had a SUDDEN CRAVING to eat Apple Pies EVERY SINGLE DAY.

No, the urge hasn't gone away in the last eight years, but AAAH. Apple Pie IS AWESOME SAUCE.

It has cinnamon and apples and GOSH I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S MADE OFF, OKAY, but heat it up and have it with a side of vanilla ice cream and YOU ARE SET.

Apple Pie Is Bae.

A Dessert Eating Unicorn #1

When we were talking about our favourite food, and what we'd put on the blog, we just assumed desserts was a part of the generalization we called food...

Until a #UnicornBrainwave (patent pending phrase) hit us and we decided to make DESSERTS our fourth category for the blog.

So get ready for six favourite dessert posts multiplied by seven Unicorns - WOW that's a lot of dessert.

First on my list HAS HAS HAS TO BE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE.

I ADORE IT. LOVE IT, I TELL YOU.

I love the tanginess of the blueberry sauce on top, and the cake and the BISCUIT. OH MAN. If you don't got a NICE biscuit base, you ain't a cheesecake - just boring old cake. Be a cheesecake. It's better.

A Unicorn Worthy Dish #6

And for my LAST favourite dish (although you could TOTALLY talk to me about more food options) I decided to go Indian... again.

One of the best things about living in India is the STREET FOOD and by that I mean the CHAATS and the JUICES.

If you ever find yourself near Rangoli or Gangotree in Chennai, out on Brigade Road (Bangalore) or Commercial Street (Delhi) YOU MUST HAVE A SAMPLE OF THEIR FOOD because they're all both delicious and cheap.

I adore Dahi Puris and Masala Lime Juice and Bhel Puris and Dahi Papadi Chaats. GO TRY THEM. NOW.

A #Unicorn Worthy Dish #5

There's this GORGEOUS little Chinese stall in the great city of Chennai, India that was shown to me by a fellow #unicorn that all of us love because it is

1) SO SO CHEAP (and perfect for the broke college student)
2) MOUTH WATERING-LY DELICIOUS

For a super cheap price of around 110/- you can get an ENTIRE box of Rice/ Noodles + A gravy + Momos and YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FINISH IT IN ONE SITTING.

It all tastes DELICIOUS (as I already said) and if you're #brokeaf like us, and a Chinese Food Lover, you MUST try this place out. Just google it for the contact details.

It should never be said that when I made a food list, being the (not very) proud Indian that I am, I didn't include my favourite Indian dishes.

My family ADORES food, and so do I. Here are a list of my favourite Indian dishes:

1. Paneer (Palak/ Butter Masala/ Tikka)
2. Black Daal
3. Samosas (slurp)
4. Dosa/ Sambar
5. Poori and Channa/ Aloo
6. GOBI RICE
7. ANY Mushroom Gravy
