Dinner parties are usually intimate affairs among friends, so they're the perfect opportunity to take a fashion risk and wear something eclectic or unusual. No matter what you choose, though, you should always look like you've put some thought into it.

Dress it up,go straight to the top(pay extra attention to what you're wearing from the waist up),consider pants(elegant trousers are making a comeback also jeans,they make you look like you don't care and skinny pants) and finally add accessories(something special that might start a conversation).
You can see me go full out in the first picture as I'm weaing a distressed white jeans from Zara along with a brown off-shoulder top from Mango paired with a statement necklace from Forever21 whereas the other pictures looks more on the too lazy to dress up kinda look in which I've worn the same jeans with an aztec print crop top from Splash and both my looks are paired up along with a pair of silver semi-gladiators from Aldo.
