A TV Binge-ing Unicorn #6

The last show on my list is a little known show - as in not MANY people I know even watch it, but it is SPECTACULAR!
6. THE 100

Set in a post-apocalyptic world after the majority of humans took off on space shuttles to wait for the day Earth became habitable again, this story follows the spaceship that sends their juveniles down to Earth after ninety-something years and EVERYTHING they do there.

I love everything this show stands for - ESPECIALLY BELLAMY AND CLARKE (I'm sorry, I love Lexa but I CANNOT STOP SHIPPING THEM) AAAAH. You need to be watching this. YESTERDAY.

Also, shows that ALMOST made it on the list: DOWNTON ABBEY // WHITE COLLAR //CASTLE // ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK // PRETTY LITTLE LIARS // REVENGE // GOTHAM // THE BIG BANG THEORY // TEEN WOLF // THE FLASH // EMPIRE // GOSSIP GIRL // SCANDAL

Sitcom #6

BIG BANG THEORY

Big Bang Theory is the last of the blockbuster sitcoms. It’s the last sitcom to get massive ratings, to build a huge, devoted audience who will absolutely watch the show whenever it’s on. Reruns of the series helped legitimize TBS as a comedy network. It has that broad, populist appeal that shows rarely have these days. Sure, it gets some critical kudos, and Jim Parsons has won about a million Emmys, but it will never be a hip show. Its future is Nick at Nite, not IFC. But, while Big Bang Theory is not a brilliant show, nor an iconic sitcom, it’s a solid series that delivers its very specific content with great reliability. The actors involved are all talented, and for every dumb joke delivered, the show provides at least one sharp one. Its immense popularity will always be held against it in some circles, but if you give it a chance, you realise that—even if it doesn’t belong in any sort of pantheon of iconic sitcoms—it’s a consistently entertaining story that has plenty to offer.

That was about it for my posts on Sitcoms.
SEE Y'ALL AROUND.

A TV Binge-ing Unicorn #5

My fifth favourite and the TV show that requires my FULL Concentration instead of just casually watching along with doing something else (#MuliTasking Unicorn) is:
5. SHERLOCK

SEASON FOUR HAS COME. SEASON FOUR HAS COME. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS, BUT THIS HAS ME SO SO EXCITED. I've only watched the first episode which DID NOT END THE WAY I THOUGHT, and I'm waiting for the family to watch two and three but IT IS FINALLY OUT. YAY.

Benedict Cumberbatch does SUCH an excellent job of Sherlock and each episode will have you CRAVING more.  GO WATCH.

Sitcom #5

MODERN FAMILY

When Modern Family premiered in 2009, it was coming off the heels of two shows that helped enforce its style: Arrested Development’s interconnected family comedy and The Office’s handheld, documentary-style approach. While not as good as its two predecessors, Modern Family learned from the shows that paved the way, combining the strengths of these two series and creating an overwhelmingly popular show—one of the few to get millions of people to watch each week and earn an insane amount of awards. But despite being quite hilarious, Modern Family’s success comes from evolving the way we see the American family. Whether its May-December romances or one of the best gay couples in television history, Modern Family’s warmth and humour brings light to the types of relationships that rarely get the attention they deserve on television.

Check out #6

Movieee #6 Rush Hour series

The most funniest and equally serious movie is this one. I'm laughing and serious and serious at the time, it's confusing how that can happen.

Rush Hour series is my most favorite series because I love watching this movie with my family and everyone is just happy watching it and I love it!

Another thing I love about this movie is that they seem so natural and funny, I mean, wow.

Last thing which is the funniest part in this series are the bloopers in the end. It's HILARIOUS, I tell you. I have fallen down the couch laughing so many times watching that that my dad told me to sit on the ground while watching.

Haha, watch this series if you haven't already!

A TV-Bingeing Unicorn #4

The fourth TV Show on my list is one my family and I sit around the TV waiting for every Thursday night. (It's BACK this week. EEK.)
4. ARROW

Not many people love this show as much as they love The Flash, but THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER. Oliver Queen (aka Stephen Amell) really comes into his role only in Season 2, but the story lines, the characters and the VILLANS - they're so much deeper and well thought out than The Flash, and I would really recommend watching it. NOW.
It does take a while to get into, but once you're in THERE IS NO LEAVING THE FANDOM.

Sitcom #4

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

Very few shows are able to teeter on the tightrope of daytime soap opera and a laugh-out-loud sitcom without going overboard. For over half a decade How I Met Your Mother has spun a hilarious tale of how Ted met his children’s mother without growing stale. Sure, fans were starting to grow weary, but since the dramatic and uplifting turn in Marshall and Lily’s life and the return of the Ted-Robin-Barney love triangle, the show is back in top form and getting more like Friends than ever. We’re closing in on a lot of mysteries, but so much more has developed to keep us intrigued.

Run away to #5

Movieee #5 The Amazing Spiderman

Spider man, Spider man
Does whatever a spider can

My favorite superhero is, if you haven't figured it out already, Spidermaaan! Not the old one, the new one. Andrew Garfield. I love him so much it makes me all goey inside, haha!

The thing I love the most about him in the movie is that he seems to enjoy to be spiderman and not take it as a burden. He seems to love helping people and he goes out of his way to do so.

Watch this space for more!

A TV Binge-ing Unicorn #3

For my third show, I'm moving on to something a little Fantasy instead of Drama and Comedy...

GAME OF THRONES:

A friend and I started watching this in 2015, and promptly got everyone else in our friends circle ADDICTED to it! A lot of them have moved to the US this year for university, and so the Season 7 being pushed back works out perfectly for us!

This show is bloodthirsty and it will break your heart and GO WATCH IT, OKAY?

ALSO, THIS HAS DRAGONS. WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY NEED?

Sitcom #3

THE SOUTH PARK

The South Park of the 1990s was quite a different show from the one it grew into over the years. In its earliest episodes, it was absolutely committed to raising as much controversy as possible, which was certainly a success in terms of media coverage alone. But the main characters were also quite a bit different—Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman were more innocent characters back then, truly childlike in many ways, less mature and grizzled from the insane experiences of living in their “quiet mountain town.” The early episodes are focused much tighter on those central characters as well, while just beginning to dip into pop culture parody (such as “Chinpokomon”) and episodes dedicated to supporting characters (such as “The Succubus”). The ’90s show hadn’t quite grown to its full potential, but it’s still easy to miss some of these character-driven stories compared to South Park’s more recent product, which so often dedicates whole episodes to Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s opinions on a single trend, celebrity, film or limited subject matter.

Head to #4

Movieee #4 Me Before You

I love romantic movies. I love the cheesy and the sappy parts and equally the not so nice parts (fighting and shizz).

Me Before You is my recent most favorite romantic movie. I love the book too!

I love the story and the way it's shown. The places shown in this film is to die for and I love the actors so much, I fangirl them all the time.

It's one of those heart-wrenching movies where you're happy and crying like a baby in the end but it's so worth it, trust me.

Watch it, now. You'll thank me later. Hehe.

Stay tuned for more!

A TV Binge-ing Unicorn #2

Number 2 on my list of TOP TV SHOWS OF ALL TIME is a classic that I'm sure most people have seen:
FRIENDS

I started bingeing this show during my 11th grade and sat through half a season per day without getting bored. (YES. I KNOW. WHAT WAS I DOING WITH MY LIFE SO BEFORE THAT?) This show is everything you EVER wanted on TV and if you haven't seen it yet, you are seriously missing out on one of the greats that TV has to offer!

*hums theme song*

Sitcom #2

                                       THE SIMPSONS

The animated program is still running on Fox, having premiered in 1989. "The Simpsons" has been on the air for longer than any other American scripted prime-time television program, though the TV series "Gunsmoke" still surpasses it in terms of number of episodes. The show centers on the Simpson family, including dim father Homer (voiced by Dan Castellaneta), wife Marge (Julie Kavner), mischievous son Bart (Nancy Cartwright), prodigy daughter Lisa (Yeardley Smith), and baby Maggie.
The characters originally introduced during "The Tracey Ullman Show," a Fox variety show which sometimes included animated segments. Late-night host Conan O'Brien once worked as a writer on the show, and celebrities such as Seth Rogen have also penned episodes.

Get to #3 now,

Movieee #3 Dangal

This is a recent movie and it's one of those movies that everybody needs to watch and learn from.

This movie is a true story and it's about how a father makes his dreams come true through his daughters. Dangal, is a must watch movie and it's truly inspiring and tells you a story about how to never give up and how you can achieve anything and everything you want in life all by yourself if you put in all your effort and hard work. The rest, you need to watch and find out.

See ya!

A TV-Binge-Ing Unicorn #1

If it's not a book, I'm ALMOST ALWAYS watching some TV show or the other.

So, as hard as making a list is, we #unicorns decided to give it a try, because the TV. HELLO?

The first on my favourite TV Show List HAS to be  GREY'S ANATOMY

This show is the story of me life. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOW. When a certain someone died two seasons ago, I just played Chasing Cars over and over, and thought about all the good times and just sobbed. WHERE IS SEASON 13? WHY IS IT NOT BACK FROM BREAK YET?

THIS SHOW IS EVERYTHING, AND YOU NEED TO BE WATCHING IT.

Sitcom #1

FRIENDS

"Friends" aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004 and followed a group of six buddies living in New York City, including high school friends Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica (Courteney Cox), Monica's older brother Ross (David Schwimmer), Ross's college roommate Chandler (Matthew Perry), ditzy-but-charming Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), and struggling actor Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc).
Producers were already acquainted with Schwimmer and wrote the role for him, but Cox first auditioned for the role of Rachel before being told by the show's creative team that she'd be a better fit for Monica. The series finale of the show became the most-watched television episode of the decade.

Go ahead to #2

Movieee #2 The Lion King

If you tell me you don't love this movie, we can't be friends. No, I'm not kidding.

The Lion King is my childhood honestly. I used to watch this movie every morning before going to school and I would cry a lot every time Mufasa dies and I still do. This movie is one of the best movie ever made and I can't think of a better movie to be brought up with.

I still know all of the line by heart and I totally love the songs and the music too, it's absolutely beautiful.
Ah, good old days.

More comin' up!

Extra Large Cookie Lovin' Unicorns

You must've seen them, right?

Rush Hour

This movie stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker as mismatched cops who must rescue the Chinese consul's kidnapped daughter. The whole movie shows us how the dynamic duo set out to save her.

This is one of my favorite action comedy movies and Chris tucker is one of my favorite stand up comedians.

REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS.

If you haven't tasted these, you haven't lived.
